In operation since 1410, Prague's Astronomical Clock can be found on the city's Old Town Hall Tower. Along with the chiming of bells, "Orloj" (astronomical clock in Czech) displays a mechanical "Walk of the Apostles" through the windows high above. In addition to the time, the clock displays the positions of the sun and moon and so much more for those who know how to decipher the information on the various dials.

We planned our visit to Prague's Old Town Square so that we were there at the top of the hour. We didn't want to miss hearing the bells and seeing the astronomical clock "show" on the Old Town Hall Tower.
