Spacious Tree Shaded Campsites are the Best!


    

El Dorado State Park is less than an hour away from Wichita, Kansas and only 15 minutes east of Interstate 35. The park's big attraction is the abundance of water sports possible in El Dorado Lake. There's a lot of fun to be had in the park - camping, hiking, playgrounds for the kids and so much more!

Do you like camping in state parks?

As we made our way from Lake Murray State Park in Oklahoma to Kansas, it finally felt like our journey to the Black Hills was underway! Overall, we enjoyed the two nights that we spent at El Dorado State Park. We had fun doing a little hiking (to the top of the dam and to the sandy beach). Most of all, we loved our very spacious tree shaded campsite!
