Having been to Venice multiple times, we truly enjoy just walking along the city streets. On our 2018 visit, after leaving St. Mark's Square, we walked to the bay. There always seems to be a line of picturesque gondolas sitting there. In our opinion, it is better to go to one of the interior canals where the water is calmer to take a gondola ride. But, for a photo, a spot like this along the bay is great!
We have always wanted to visit the Tramontin Gondola Factory, but the hours are limited and we have missed it every time that we have been there. Hopefully some day our timing will work out!
