Enjoying a Sunset View from Havana's Hotel Nacional de Cuba

Sitting atop Taganana Hill in the center of Havana, the Hotel Nacional de Cuba is the perfect spot to watch the sun setting over the city, and especially the Havana Harbor. The 1930 era hotel is located on the same ground that was home to the late 18th century Santa Clara Battery. Hotel Nacional de Cuba has hosted famous dignitaries and artists from all walks of life during its 80+ years.

Have you made it to Cuba?

Although our visit was rather short, we can at least say that we got a taste of the amazing city of Havana. A private tour took our group of 4 all around the city during our 2 port days. While we were almost constantly on the move, we loved sipping on a drink while watching the sunset from the grounds of Hotel Nacional de Cuba!
