The Grand Promenade and Bathhouse Row in Hot Springs, Arkansas were named a National Historic Landmark District in 1987. There are still eight bathhouses standing on Bathhouse Row - each constructed between the 1890s and 1920s. Quapaw Bathhouse, one of the newest, opened as a spa in 2008. With both private baths and public pools, it is one of two places where visitors can enjoy the hot thermal springs.

How do you relax while traveling?
One of our favorite ways to relax when we are on the road is to soak in a jacuzzi or hot tub. Throughout the last few years, we've made two visits to Hot Springs, Arkansas. We love spending the afternoon at the Quapaw Bathhouse where we can just relax in the warm (or hot) thermal waters that the area is so famous for.
