Cascade of Staubbach Falls in Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland

The stunning Staubbach Falls is located in the Jungfrau region of Switzerland in a village named Lauterbrunnen. Water falls down into a lush green valley from a cliff high overhead. Just being able to see the waterfall from the valley is worth a visit to the village, but hiking for a more close-up view is highly recommended.

Social Media Description

Have you ever traveled to a place where you thought you could live?

Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland was that place for me. We visited the quaint village in 2014, and I still remember it like it was yesterday. Although Lauterbrunnen is so different from anywhere that I've lived, I fell in love with the beauty and long to return. The small town is situated in a valley with the water from Staubbach Falls dropping from a tall cliff. I loved hearing the bells attached to the collars of the cows wandering about the valley. To me, Lauterbrunnen was a perfect example of a storybook village!

What's one place that you have visited that made a lasting impression?
