Louisiana | New Orleans | Mardi Gras | Crescent City | Carnival | Fat Tuesday | Parades | LaBranche House
The Mardi Gras colors of purple (justice), green (faith) and gold (power) plus the awesome New
Orleans architecture make the city so fun to explore. We have definitely seen these three colors
on display during our prior visits to the Crescent City, but this was our first visit during Carnival
season. The LaBranche House, built in the 1830s, is one of the (if not the) most photographed
buildings in the French Quarter.

C is for Colors ... and the whole city of New Orleans is decked out in Mardi Gras colors during the
Carnival season. We loved our week in the Crescent City during Mardi Gras! #WordyExplorers
