After visiting the two Beatles museums along with some other sites in Liverpool, I couldn't miss the "ferry 'cross the Mersey"! We didn't need to get across the river, but the song made me want to take a ride on the Mersey Ferry from London. Luckily, we discovered the U-Boat Museum in Birkenhead, so our trip was definitely worthwhile.
