For a bird's eye view of Prague's Old Town, climb the stairs or ride the elevator to the top of the Old Town Hall Tower. Originally built in 1338, visitors to the top of the landmark tower today can see the nearby Saint Nicholas Church, Church of Our Lady Before Tyn, and Kinsky Palace, the red roofs and cobblestone streets of Old Town as well as Prague Castle and more in the distance. Unlike medieval towers in most ancient cities, Prague's Old Town Hall Tower is open for visitors late into the evening during much of the year for views of the city in lights!
