Swim with Sea Life at Anini Beach


    

On the northern coast of Kauai, Anini Beach is one of the island's more secluded beaches. The beach is said to have one of the biggest (longest and widest) reefs in all of the Hawaiian islands. Anini Beach offers a lot of variety - making it a great destination for most people. There's sunny areas and well shaded areas, there's places to picnic and even places to camp. In addition to snorkeling, people visit the beach to swim, paddle board, wind surf ... or just to walk along the sand.

What are your favorite water activities?

We love to snorkel - especially when we find a place with amazing sea life. During our week long stay in Kauai, one of our favorite snorkeling spots was Anini Beach. It was less crowded than the more popular well known beaches, and the sea life was incredible. Between our two visits, we saw turtles, an eel, a baby eagle ray and, of course, lots of colorful fish.
