October is almost here and I know that's when we are escaping to another all-inclusive resort. To get me in the right mindset, I'm dreaming of past beach vacations!
Today, I'm remembering our port day at Port Vila, Vanuatu. We started our day winding through the market and found a water taxi for only $5 AUS per person which dropped us off near the city center. That's where we met Opie, who we hired as our taxi driver / tour guide for the day. We hiked a 20 minute bushwalk up to Mele Cascades Waterfall where we enjoyed a short private swim in the pool at the foot of the waterfall before spending a few hours at Hideaway Island. Take me back to paradise!
