Gate d'Amboise is one of eleven gates leading into the Walled City of Rhodes. Once inside the walls, hundreds of streets and alleys provide plenty of options for travelers with any taste. Sokratous Street is filled with a variety of shops for those in need of retail therapy. Knights Street (or Ippoton Street), between the Knights Hospital and Grand Masters Palace is home to seven 16th century inns. Strolling the streets of Rhodes is strolling through a UNESCO World Heritage Site!

Which Greek Islands are your favorites?

In years past, we have been lucky enough to visit four Greek islands. While aboard the Odyssey of the Seas last fall, we made a return visit to one and added two additional islands to our list of places that we have visited.

Our first stop in Greece was at the Port of Rhodes, just steps away from the Walled City. It's easy to spend hours roaming the streets and finding all of the gates while taking more pictures than we could count. Since we only had one day, we really had to watch our time so that we could see all that we wanted to see!
