The westernmost point in all of Europe's mainland is at Cabo da Roca in Portugal. Since 1772, the Cabo da Roca lighthouse has been helping those navigating the nearby ocean waters by boat. Today, the lighthouse is the second oldest on Portugal's coast. On a clear day, the panoramic views from Cabo da Roca are second to none, and there's also a cross that will catch your eye as you explore the point!

Just a short ride from Sintra took us to Cabo da Roca for some views out over the Atlantic Ocean. Although the weather was nice in the morning, it unfortunately got cloudy and rainy for our afternoon away.
