Malaysia | Langkawi | Pulau Langkawi | Kuah Jetty | Dataran Lang | Eagle Square | Red Backed Eagle | Langkawi Day Tour | Langkawi Fair Mall
Measuring in at almost 40 feet, the huge eagle that stands in Dataran Lang (or Eagle Square) represents the red-backed eagle for which the island is known. Make sure to take a look at the Kuah Jetty on which the statue stands to see its star shape. It is said that the eagle is an even more amazing sight at night when it is lit up. If you want to take home some souvenirs or gifts, deals can be found at the Langkawi Fair Mall, also located on the jetty.

Social Media Description
The first port day on our cruise between Kuala Lumpur and Bali was at Langkawi. As a part of Malaysia, Langkawi is actually a group of 99 islands. We joined a small group private tour that we reserved several months before boarding, and our first stop was at Eagle Square.
