Just over two months before our arrival by cruise ship into Havana, Cuba, I contacted two of the most highly recommended guides to inquire about a private tour. After corresponding back and forth, we settled on I Love Cuba Photo Tours and could not have been happier with our decision.
If you are considering a trip to Cuba either via plane or cruise ship, take a look at these 30 photos so that you can get a feel for what to expect when touring with I Love Cuba Photo Tours. At a total cost of $230.00 per day for up to four passengers, we left Havana with great memories, plus a large selection of photos to sort through and enjoy!

Touring with I Love Cuba Photo Tours
Our friends, Rick and Sheryl, joined Scott and I on a five day cruise aboard the Royal Caribbean Majesty of the Seas. Upon our afternoon arrival in Havana, the four of us met Yosel Vazquez (yoselvazquez@yahoo.com), owner of I Love Cuba for the first of two days that we would spend together.
I have to admit that I was not exactly sure what we were in for, nor what to expect with a "photo tour". I knew that, by providing an SD memory card, we would be leaving Havana with photos taken by Yosel (plus those that we took ourselves). What I didn't understand was that our time together would be much like a private photo session ... and we even got to choose the colors of the classic convertibles!
In addition to hundreds of photos that the four of us took, Yosel shot over 300 photos on the SD card that we provided at the start of our tour. In addition to photos of some of the key sights in Havana (both with and without us), Yosel's photos included the classic cars that everyone associates with Cuba, photos of life as a Cuban and even some creative photography. After returning home and taking the time to look at his photos, I realized that Yosel took many photos on the sly, so seeing them was a big surprise.
These 30 photos all taken by Yosel Vazquez are just a small taste of what we left Havana with. The memories of our two days with Yosel won't soon be forgotten. He is fluent in English and his sense of humor as is his knowledge of Cuban history and customs is great.
