While camping in and exploring Arizona, we stopped to see the Meteor Crater near Winslow.
While there we could not resist the opportunity to "stand on a corner in Winslow, Arizona"
because of the famous Eagle's song. What did we find? A very nice monument on the corner of
Old Route 66 and North Kinsley Avenue dedicated to this song! It included a great mural
backdrop, a statue of Glenn Frey taking it easy, a Flatbed Ford Truck and Route 66 all painted up.

When we were camping at Meteor Crater RV Park, we realized that Winslow, Arizona was only
about 20 minutes away. Since we both grew up on songs by the Eagles, we decided to go check
out the city to see if we could find "that corner"! Since luck was on our side, we couldn't pass up
the opportunity document the two of us "just standin' on the (famous) corner".
