We came upon this awesome double rainbow which led us to the meeting point for a rafting trip along the Rio Grande River. The rainbow was the perfect start to one of the days that we spent exploring Big Bend National Park. Floating down the river, we loved gazing up at the huge canyons while listening to our guide talk about the mysterious history of the area.

Big Bend National Park is one of the most remote places in Texas, yet it is such a wonderful place to explore. We camped about 45 minutes away from the park, so each morning we had a rather long drive just to get us to the park. We never knew what we would encounter each day on our drive. One of our favorites had to be this double rainbow.
