As you drive along Utah's SR-24 in Capitol Reef National Park, look for a pull-out with a parking lot near two wooden boardwalks. After you find a place to park, take a walk along both boardwalks and see how many petroglyphs you can find! People living in the area over 700 years ago (now referred to as the Fremont Culture because of the nearby Fremont River) are credited for the petroglyphs which include animals, humans and geometric shapes. (Binoculars can help with finding and focusing on the petroglyphs.)

Social Media Description
We always enjoy looking at petroglyphs and trying to imagine what message those who drew them were leaving ... and those beside the boardwalks along Utah-24 at Capitol Reef National Park were no exception!
