Utah | Torrey | Day Trip | National Park Service | Fishlake National Forest | Aspen Trees | Fish Lake | Mountain Lake | Fishing | Bird Watching
Utah is well known for being home to the Mighty Five - five of the nation's national parks. Nature can also be found in other places in the state including Fishlake National Forest located in central Utah. Surprisingly, the forest is huge - large enough for all five of the state's national parks to fit inside with room to spare! In addition to fishing, the forest is known for bird watching as well as the aspen trees and lush meadows.

Social Media Description
In our quest to explore more of Utah, we drove about an hour to the northwest of Capitol Reef National Park. It was there where we spent some time driving and walking around Fishlake National Forest. It was easy to see why the lake and trees (and free entrance) draw visitors to the forest!
Nature has been for me, for as long as I remember, a source of solace, inspiration, adventure, and delight; a home, a teacher, a companion. - Lorraine Anderson
