Sunset Over the Lazy River at Galveston Island KOA Holiday

If you are a sunset lover, the Galveston Island KOA Holiday is one great place to be. The swimming pool, hot tub and lazy river are well positioned for watching the sun as it sets over the resort. If you love sunset photography, the hardest part will be making yourself get out of the water to capture a great sunset photo! (Fortunately, the view is pretty darn good from the patio too.)

Would you rather be floating on the lazy river during the day (when it is hot) or in the evening (when you can see the sunset)?

It's hard to get us away from the lazy river and the hot tub at the Galveston Island KOA Holiday, but we did manage to get out of the water long enough to snap a few photos at sunset! This is our second time to visit this resort, and I have a feeling that we'll return again - and probably more than once again. (It's a good thing that it's less than a 5 hour drive from home.)

Hint: The resort has cabins, too - so if you are not an RVer, you don't have to miss out on the fun!

Where would we find you at the resort - swimming pool, hot tub, lazy river ... or out of the water taking sunset photos?
