We barely got back from one long RV trip, and we already decided to get away for a long weekend! We stayed at this campground/RV resort before it became a KOA, and decided to check it out again to see what's s different.
If resort style relaxation is your goal, Galveston Island KOA Holiday is the place to be! The Lazy River (open 10:00 AM - 9:00 PM) is the perfect way to cool off on a hot afternoon. Just bring a pool noodle, inner tube or similar float and let the flow of the river do most of the work for you. (Not a day of our stay will go by that we won't spend a part of it floating on the river!)
