The blue and white lifeguard towers have all been placed on Hollywood Beach within the last four
years. Unlike in many cities, lifeguard services are actually offered year round in Hollywood. That's
probably because no matter if its summer or winter, there is plenty of activity on south Florida
beaches. (It's estimated that 150+ rescues are performed annually.)

When do you enjoy beach strolls?
We love walking on the promenade or in the sand any time when the temperature is warm enough. I
do enjoy hitting the sand when it is not crazy crowded - and that's what we usually find during winter
time in Hollywood Beach. Plus, the newish blue and white lifeguard towers are so picturesque!
