Whenever we plan RV journeys, I always search for local events that coincide with our stops along the way. Before we started making reservations for campgrounds in 2019, I realized that we were planning to be in Louisville just before the Kentucky Derby. By making a very minor change to our planned itinerary, we could attend Derby!
I traveled to Louisville many times for work and always thought it would be cool to be there on the big day. Honestly, I never thought it would happen - but am so glad that we decided to do it. It was a very rainy day, but fun, nonetheless.
