Did you know that green iguanas are an invasive species? Iguanas like this one are not native to Florida and actually
can cause harm to other species native to the state. Many people keep them as pets, however beginning in early
2021, they are on the prohibited species list. This means that green iguanas can no longer be sold as pets and those
who owned one prior to the 2021 date must have a permit.

Do you think that the green iguanas found primarily in southern Florida are cool or a nuisance?
Since I have only been a visitor to south Florida, I still find it rather fun to come across a green iguana. I do
understand, however, why locals find them to be a pest!
Which camp do you belong to when it come to iguanas?
I got into an argument with a girlfriend inside of a tent. That's a bad place for an argument, because then I tried to walk out and slammed the flap. How are you supposed to express your anger in this situation? Zipper it up really quick? - Mitch Hedberg
