When it comes to travel, are you a planner?
We are the epitome of planners, and I wish we were not! We are both so obsessed with details. We did make some last minute changes to a trip last summer and loved it.
We planned an RV trip taking us from Texas to Missouri to pick up Scott's brother and SIL. From there, the four of us headed to the Black Hills and Badlands region of South Dakota. Our traveling companions left us after two weeks as they had work commitments. Our original plan was to spend about one more week on the road and then head home.
As we got further south, we realized how hot it was going to be in Texas and decided that we were not ready for the heat. We added another three weeks to our trip and headed west to Colorado to enjoy some cooler weather. We had a blast - even without planning early enough to make reservations in the national park!
