The city of Round Rock (a suburb of Austin, Texas) was reportedly named after a "Round Rock". The large round rock sits in Brushy Creek and it is said that it was used as a marker along the Chisholm Trail. As pioneers were traveling south in their covered wagons, the "Round Rock" landmark was easily recognized. If you look closely at the area surrounding the rock, you can even see wagon ruts dating back more than 150 years!

Social Media Description
Our guilty pleasure was Round Rock Donuts for breakfast! After that, we decided to take a peak at the "Round Rock" for which the city is reportedly named. It's been years since we made a stop by the rock, and realized that lots of improvements have been made since our last visit.
I just want to live in a world of mountains, coffee, campfires, cabins, and golden trees, and run around with a camera and notebook, learning the inner workings of everything real. - Victoria Erickson
