Both Union and Confederate Soldiers crossed Gettysburg's Sach's Covered Bridge during the days of the
Civil War. Originally built in 1852, the bridge is now on the National Register of Historic Places and is
considered to be Pennsylvania's "most historic bridge".

Do you believe in ghosts?
I have to admit that the reason we made the drive to Sachs Covered Bridge was not because of the
reported paranormal activity. Making a stop was because I have become enamored with covered bridges.
But, our stop did become more interesting once we learned that the bridge, which crosses over Marsh
Creek, is said to be haunted!
