Colorado | Mesa Verde National Park | UNESCO | Cliff Palace | Cliff Dwellings | Ancestral Pueblo | Hiking | Camping
Mesa Verde National Park, located in southeast Colorado, is home to nearly 600 cliff dwellings.
With 150 rooms, Cliff Palace, often listed as one of the must see places to visit in a lifetime, is
the largest cliff dwelling in the United States. Hikers within the park can join ranger led tours to
walk where the Ancestral Puebloans lived over 700 years ago. Even without joining a tour,
awesome views of the amazing structure can be seen from Cliff Palace Overlook.
