You've Seen the Ads, But Have You Visited "The Thing"?

Driving along Interstate 10 between Texas and Arizona, you can't miss the bright yellow billboards with bright blue writing advertising "The Thing". Those who make the stop at Exit 322 can enter the museum which houses "The Thing" after paying a $5.00 entrance fee. "The Thing", a reported "mummy" is said to lie in a coffin with a glass top.

Social Media Description

Have you traveled Interstate 10 between Texas and Arizona?

If so, you've surely seen plenty of advertisements for "The Thing"? But, did you actually stop to see "The Thing"?

Since we live in Texas and have family in Arizona, we have driven the route countless times. I had read that entering the museum was only $1.00, so what the heck. When we stopped, the entrance fee had increased to $5.00. We really didn't have much time, so we passed ... but we are dying to know more about it so we know if we should stop next time!

Do roadside signs lure you to stop?
