While on our first southwestern USA road trip, we stopped at the four corners monument. Utah,
Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico offer this unique location for tourists passing through the
area. There is even parking for RVs so it was easy to stop as we passed by. (Some have said
that this marker is in the wrong place, but NOAA has confirmed that it is correct. This Four Corners article should
help to clarify any doubts that you might have!)

Have you visited the Four Corners marker?
As we traveled from Mesa Verde to Monument Valley in the fall of 2018, we made the obligatory
stop! It's pretty cool to realize that you can stand in 4 states at virtually the same time! During
our visit, we enjoyed reading the historical markers that describe the interesting significance of
the area. There was also plenty of shopping in kiosks surrounding the monument. You can even
choose which state you want to give your business to!
Which unique markers do you recommend to other travelers?
