For long-haul truck drivers, the Iowa 80 Truckstop is more of a necessity than an attraction. But, for anyone driving along interstate 80 in eastern Iowa, it's a unique way to spend part of a day!
As we were driving toward the Quad Cities, we saw billboards advertising the truckstop and knew that we wanted to visit. Just about any service that you can imagine that a long distance driver might need or want (fuel, chiropractor, dentist, barber, showers, pet wash, movie theater and so much more) is available.
There's a huge retail store offering plenty of trucking accessories plus a large collection of fun souvenirs as well. We also enjoyed seeing the collection of vintage trucks in the on-site trucking museum.
