Utah | Zion National Park | Zion Canyon | Virgin River | Weeping Rock | Hiking | Easy Hikes in Zion National Park
The shortest trail within Zion National Park ends at Weeping Rock. The 1/4 mile long path is almost fully
paved, making it one of the most popular in the park. Due to continually flowing water seeping from the
canyons above, ferns, grasses and even wildflowers can be found at Weeping Rock.

Have you explored Zion National Park?
We only had time for one day at Zion in 2017, and one day is not nearly enough time. On a
recommendation from friends, one of our hikes was to Weeping Rock. The mostly paved trail led us to the
alcove which is home to a year-round spring.
In a cool solitude of trees, where leaves and birds a music spin, mind that was weary is at ease, new rhythms in the soul begin. - William Kean Seymour
