Snorkel with Sea Turtles in Curaçao's Playa Piskado
Also known as Playa Grandi (or Playa Pescado), Curaçao's Playa Piskado is undoubtedly the island's most recommended place for those wanting to snorkel with sea turtles. The beach is actually a fisherman's beach. The pier that extends into the water from the beach is where local fishermen clean their fish. It's the leftovers from the fish that attract the turtles - they are thrown back into the water from the pier!

This was our second time to visit Playa Piskado on the island of Curacao. Several years ago we only stood on the pier and watched the sea turtles swimming about in search of their next meal. This time we actually got in the water and snorkeled - so much more fun!
