Not to be confused with Ilet du Gosier, Gosier is an area located on the southern side of Guadeloupe's Grande-Terre Island. One of Guadeloupe's popular beaches with both locals and tourists, Plage de la Datcha, is on the coast of this urban area. From there, you can spot the tiny island of Ilet du Gosier - and ferry, kayak or even swim to this slice of paradise.

After returning by ferry from Gosier Island back to Guadeloupe's Grand-Terre Island, we spotted the "I Love Gosier" sign and knew we had to snap some photos. From the sign, we had a view of Plage de La Datcha. Before catching a taxi back to the port area, we walked down and checked out our second Guadeloupe beach!
