We had high hopes for Scott getting his stitches out before leaving West Virginia. Unfortunately the Urgent Care staff decided they needed to stay in for another week. After 11 days parked in the same place in West Virginia, we continued on our journey any way. Next up is "the sate for lovers": Virginia.
We spent our first two days on scenic drives - Virginia's Blue Ridge Parkway and Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park. With most of our time spent in the car, Scott gave his knee more time to heal. The only downside was that the weather didn't cooperate with our hopes of getting some great panoramic photos. Because of rain, fog and clouds, we got very few good shots in Shenandoah ... we'll have to return! Here's the best from two days of supposedly scenic driving!
