We had heard about the Cadillac Ranch for years. When we finally visited, we were amazed at this iconic must see sight in Amarillo, Texas. We didn't realize that the cars were covered with layer upon layer of spray painted graffiti. Wow! The inches think layers of paint make for a very colorful and artistic sight that will be a lasting memory.

Do you enjoy stopping to see quirky roadside attractions?
On our road trip through the Texas Panhandle, we made a stop at a place that we have talked about visiting for years - the Cadillac Ranch. It's definitely a fun diversion to take your mind off of the west Texas summer temperatures! Although we didn't know that bringing spray paint was the norm, we got to join in on the fun - someone shared their leftover paint with us as they were leaving!
