Try to Decipher the Message in the Chloride Murals
Originally painted by Roy Purcell nearly 60 years ago, a drive to see the "Chloride Murals" makes for a colorful off-the-beaten path stop. The murals, named "The Journey" by the artist, are painted on rocks and boulders in the Cerbat Mountains located in the western Arizona town of Chloride. The artist personally touched up his art on two occasions - in 1975 and again in 2006.

Social Media Description
As we were navigating around Golden Valley, Arizona, I saw a billboard advertising the "Chloride Murals". We found out that they were just a few miles off the road, so we had to check them out. (The road getting to the murals was gravel, but at least no huge potholes!)
