The mile and a half long loop trail around Crescent Meadow inside Sequoia National Park is easy and level plus the view is slightly different from the areas of the park filled with giant sequoias. Yes, there are still plenty of the park's namesake trees, but they surround a large meadow with wildflowers and maybe even some wildlife! If you are up for a longer hike, consider taking one of the many trails that connect with the loop trail for even more diverse scenery (and wildlife potential).

Social Media Description

Even before we entered Sequoia National Park, I had my heart set on seeing a bear. Well, my wish came true!!! As I was giving up hope on our last day in the park, we started the loop trail around Crescent Meadow. We met some hikers coming off of one of the side trails who had spotted a bear, so we took our chances. Success!!!
