The Duomo Milan Museum tells the story of both the construction of the cathedral as well as the continuous refurbishment. In addition to an intricate wooden scale building model, visitors will find art, sculptures, artifacts, crosses, religious icons, tapestries, stained glass and more - some dating back to 1386 when construction began. The museum is a short walk from the cathedral and is well worth a visit.
