New Mexico | Nambe | The Pueblo of Nambe | Nambé Falls Recreation Area | Nambe Pueblo Waterfall | Natural Waterfall | Trail | Hiking
Nambé Falls Recreation Area, found in The Pueblo of Nambé, is open to guests interested in camping, hiking and/or fishing. A big draw for many is the waterfall that can be reached by a choice of two 1/4 mile long hikes. One hike requires an uphill climb and ends at a viewpoint of the waterfall. The second hiking trail traverses through the river and ends at the beach by the pool that catches the falling water. (Water shoes and a waterproof pack are a must for the hike through the river!)

I'll admit that it is hard for me to pass up seeing a waterfall - even if it involves hiking to get to the viewpoint. We chose the "dry option" to get a view of the falls at Nambé Falls Recreation Area.
