If there is one thing that I can count on, it is that Scott will never turn away anything sweet. So, I know that when I find crazy places to make stops at when we are on the road, if I include some dessert places, he will quickly agree with my plan.
I actually learned about Albanese on Instagram last summer, and knew that we should pay a visit when we were in the area. Over a year later, that day finally came.
In order to increase their square footage in the retail shop, the window where you could watch candy manufacturing is no longer visible for anyone but the tallest of people. But, that just meant more candy options available for purchase. (We haven't tried the gummi bears that they are most famous for, but if they are anything like the peanut butter milk chocolate malt balls or the milk chocolate pecan caramel patties, they will be awesome!)
