Chillon Castle on the Shores of Lake Geneva


    

We are so glad that we stopped to tour this medieval fortress located on Lake Geneva. Chillon Castle is home to some great artifacts and is one of the locations where the famous poet Lord Byron worked. The view over Lake Geneva can only be described as totally incredible. It's a view that everyone dreams of, but few get so lucky to enjoy!

If you could choose the perfect view from your castle, what would it be?

Back when cruise ships were sailing, we embarked on a river cruise leaving from Amsterdam. Before boarding, we traveled through Switzerland and France on our way to the Netherlands. One of our favorite memories from the trip was visiting the Chillon Castle in Switzerland. How wonderful would it be to have a view of Lake Geneva to look at each and every day!
