Cruising through the Baltic Sea is a great way to explore some of Europe's capital cities including Copenhagen (Denmark), Berlin (Germany), Tallinn (Estonia), St. Petersburg (Russia), Helsinki (Finland) and Stockholm (Sweden). Departing from Warnemunde (near Berlin), the seas during our cruise were amazing - they were as smooth as glass. At sunset, the sun appeared to just slide below the flat plain of water!

Do you miss cruising?

The year 2020 will be the first year since we have known each other that we have not traveled on either a plane or a cruise ship. Fortunately we have lots of travel memories ... it's fun to look back on where we have been in the past and also dream about what destinations we will visit in the future.

Since it is Sunday, here's a sunset photo taken over a totally flat sea in the Baltic. We were just departing from a day docked in Warnemunde, Germany during a 2016 cruise of the Baltic Capitals.
