Painted in 2012, this "Children on a Bicycle" mural is one of the most photographed pieces of street art on the Malaysian island of Penang. The artist, Ernest Zacharevic, has painted murals all around the world. This piece is rather unique in that it's not just paint that he used to create the scene - there is a real bicycle incorporated into the mural. That's probably one of the reasons why this mural often has a line of people waiting for their photo shoot!

Sure wish we had more time while in George Town, Penang to find other murals. Before heading overseas, the street art in the city came highly recommended. At least we saw what is often referred to as the most famous of the murals. (I guess there's always next time!)
