Playing Around, a Tussle or a Real Elephant Flight?

You can't always accurately predict what you'll see when going on a game drive or river cruise in Chobe National Park. Sometimes, you can't even figure out what you are witnessing as you float on the river or drive/ride in the park. You may come across a couple of elephants having an altercation - but is it a real fight, are they just playing around or is it a minor tussle?

Social Media Description

During our morning game drive on the Chobe River, we came across these two elephants who were not babies but also didn't appear to be fully grown, so they were quite possibly teenagers. Since we didn't see the start of their interaction (or altercation), we don't know if one provoked the other into a fight or if they were just playing around with each other. It was fascinating to see them move forward or back and wrap their trunks around each other in a variety of different positions. If only we could read their minds!
