Just One Morning on a Game Drive in Chobe

A stay at Chobe Bakwena Lodge includes two activities each day. Game drives inside Chobe National Park are a guest favorite. Open air game viewing vehicles are customized so that each passenger has an unobstructed view. Although a morning game drive may require an early wake-up and breakfast, the prize may be seeing some predators in action. Guides also stop for a morning break with beverages and snacks, so you never have to worry about having enough food!

Alec, our safari guide, took good care of us on our first morning game drive inside Chobe National Park. In just under four hours, we saw a variety of wildlife and even had a stop for coffee / hot chocolate and snacks. Check out this sampling from our morning - impalas, kudus, red-billed hornbills, lions, baboons, yellow bellied greenbulls, spider monkeys, warthogs, brown snake eagles, giraffes, elephants and African fish eagles.
