How Much Sugar Cane and Bananas Can an Elephant Eat?
An afternoon at the Lake Phuket Elephant Nursery is dedicated to learning about, interacting and spending time with the elephants. After learning about the differences in elephant species, it's time to chop the sugar cane into "elephant size" pieces. A short walk will bring you over to the waiting elephants - waiting for a meal that is! After devouring the food that you serve, the elephants willingly pose for photos with their new friends.

Social Media Description
Feeding the elephants at The Lake Phuket Elephant Nursery was both fun and interesting. We each got a basket of bananas and sugar cane that we fed to three elephants. None of them were interested in the sugar cane until all of the bananas were gone - they gobbled every banana up peel and all!
