Between the Mississippi River and Jackson Square in New Orleans' French Quarter is an area known as the Moonwalk. The Moonwalk actually extends for over 1/2 mile between Woldenberg Park and Governor Nicholas Street Wharf. During the holiday season, a tall Christmas tree stands in Washington Artillery Park, which links Jackson Square with the Moonwalk. Make sure to stand with your back to the River so that you don't miss a view of the tree and St. Louis Cathedral.
