The Supertree Grove at Gardens by the Bay has 12 supertrees that are home to 200 species of plants. Rising up as high as 160+ feet, an amazing variety of plants grow among the "vertical garden" structures for all to see. Be on the lookout for ferns, orchids, bromeliads and many more tropical plants and flowers. At night, the supertrees become the stars of the nightly music and light show. It's free, so plan to arrive early!

Shortly after our evening arrival into Singapore, we headed out ... we had a full evening planned of free events! We started at the Gardens by the Bay for the nightly lights and sounds show. As we expected, being a free show, the crowd in the supertree grove starts building early. We staked our place out on the ground and enjoyed lying among the supertrees until the show began.
