Museum or Window Shopping: Which is It?


    

Technically, the classification of this building located in Valentine, TX is a museum with a single display. The locked building designed to look like a Prada boutique was home to a large number of dead bugs lying all over the floor during our visit. The real display, however, was the 6 handbags and 21 shoes (not pairs of shoes) from Prada's 2005 fall collection!

Have you visited Marfa, Texas?

Quirky seems to be the best word for describing the many unique places to see in and nearby the city of Marfa. During our 2017 visit, we took the 40 mile drive west to Valentine to visit the Prada Marfa "museum". We also found a similar Target store in Marathon, TX ... but unfortunately, never saw the famous Marfa Lights!
